High-strength Wire Shelving

Wire shelving will be manufactured from high-quality steel or aluminium, with steel, wire, plastic or wood shelves depending on the configuration. Metal shelving units can be food-safe and medical grade.

Depending on the shelving unit you buy, shelves can cope with even the heaviest loads. Shelves can be configured however you like, providing even more flexibility.

Each wire shelving rack comes with a set of shelves you can place anywhere. Optional extra shelves are available so you can configure your rack however you need. All are fastened into place with secure clips.

Wire shelves enable the free flow of air to help keep food fresh and are often used in food retail, food preparation, vets, medical centres and other clean industries.

Metal shelving units

Metal shelving units are a very flexible way to store items. As they come in different heights, widths and depths, you can build a solution around the space while maximising storage potential.

The design is minimalist but designed specifically for strength. Materials are lightweight but strong and can safely store single or multiple items up to 300kg in weight.

You’ll find chrome wire shelving used extensively in supermarkets, smaller stores, food manufacturers, factories, schools, colleges, cafes, warehouses and storage rooms everywhere.

You’ll also find them around the home in pantries and garages across the country providing reliable storage for all manner of items.

Wire shelving can be used simply to store items or to display them. Either way, the rack and shelves perform their task while staying out of the way so you can clearly see what product is stored where.

Low-maintenance Wire Shelving Unit

Both stainless steel and aluminium metal shelving is designed to offer maximum flexibility with ease of use, low maintenance and convenience.

Chrome wire shelving units currently stocked by Plastor are 1820mm high with widths of 610mm up to 1220mm and a depth of 305mm. If you need shelving in other dimensions, contact one of the team and we’ll be happy to help.

Metal shelving fits together easily using innovative fixings, with no tools required. They are simple to assemble and keep clean, which is why you’ll see them so often in food businesses and kitchens.

Shelves can be adjusted by hand in 25mm increments. Many wire shelves also have adjustable feet so you can store safely on uneven surfaces. We really have thought of everything!

Each wire shelving wall comes with a standard set of shelves that fit perfectly. Extra packs of shelves are available to fit all dimensions for extra flexibility.
